I attend online classes. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made. There is no concern of getting up in time to drive to school, finding someone to watch my children, or even figure out what I’m going to wear. Each unit is covered in one week. Assignments are due at the end of that week, along with tests, reading, and discussions. My schoolwork is worked around my family, not my family being worked around my school. There are classes that are mandatory and my family knows that I am unavailable during those hours. Most of those classes are held in the evenings and my children are either in bed or sitting in front of the TV. I know my family’s weekly activities and I am able to plan at what times I will do my reading. During the school year it is actually much easier to complete my course requirements. The large blocks of time when my children are in school gives me plenty of times to complete my school work. I can do my school work at anytime, the only scheduled time I have are my class seminars. I have no problem with family first.
